Shafaqna English- Mustafa Barghouti, the secretary-general of the Palestinian National Initiative, has urged UN member states to impose sanctions on Israel due to its violations against Palestinians.
“Don’t forget this government has committed genocide in Gaza and continues to commit genocide in Gaza. They violated the ceasefire 3,000 times, killing more than 1,300 Palestinians since the ceasefire in Gaza. They allow settler terrorist groups to attack Palestinian groups everywhere in the occupied West Bank. So now they are even attacking UN institutions,” Barghouti said.
