Shafaqna English- Over 26 million people in the Democratic Republic of Congo were infected with malaria last year, according to official data released on Saturday.
The National Malaria Control Program reported that there were 29,938 deaths due to malaria in the country.
Guy Dembo, the deputy director of the control program, stated that malaria remains the primary public health challenge in Congo and emphasizes the need for collective interventions.
