Shafaqna English- Islamic Centre Of England presented: In this thought-provoking lecture, Shaykh Dr Usama Al-Atar continues his discussion on the lessons of Karbala and applies them to the challenges facing Muslims and the Shia community in the modern world.
Following the example of Imam Hussain (AS) and Sayyida Zaynab (SA), the Shaykh explores how foresight, resilience, adaptability, and responsibility are essential qualities for preserving faith and identity in changing times.
The lecture examines some of the major challenges facing believers today, including the normalisation of immorality, the influence of modern media, the increasing distance from Allah, and the difficulties of raising children with strong faith and awareness of the Hereafter.
Shaykh Dr Usama Al-Atar highlights that the struggle of Karbala did not end on the battlefield. The mission of Ahlul Bayt continued through preserving values, educating society, and building a community capable of carrying the message forward.
