Shafaqna English- Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has slammed the US Central Command (CENTCOM) for denying the American bombing of civilians on Sirik Island, saying that even the US propaganda machine has failed to refute this horrifying reality of its military.
“Tim Hawkins, a CENTCOM spokesperson, claims – while denying the brutal war crime in #Sirik – that the United States does not target civilians!” Baqaei wrote in a post on his X network on Wednesday.
“Apparently, he has forgotten his own military record: Kakarak in 2002, Mukaradeeb in 2004, and Deh Bala and Wech Baghtu in 2008 – documented US attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq that resulted in the deaths of civilians, including women and children,” he reminded Hawkins of crimes of US occupation forces in the region over the past decades.
