Shafaqna English- SpaceX and Tesla, both owned by Elon Musk, are set to make an initial investment of $16.8 billion to construct Terafab, a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility focused on artificial intelligence, located in Grimes County, Texas. This move comes as the two companies are in a competitive push to secure the chip manufacturing capacity that Musk has described as critical to their long-term success.
The complex is designed to bridge the growing gap between current global chip supply and the anticipated demand for over 1 terawatt of computing power, which both SpaceX and Tesla project they will require in the coming years to support their expanding technological needs.
