Shafaqna English- Nasiriyah International Airport project in Dhi Qar Governorate will open in early 2027, and it has now reached a 68% overall completion rate, according to statements made by Captain Ihab Saad, Director General of the General Company for Airports Management and Air Navigation Services.
Saad characterized the construction momentum as continuous and accelerating, confirming that the facility is projected for official delivery in early 2027, provided current construction schedules proceed without unforeseen disruptions.
