UN calls for urgent action to support women and girls in Afghanistan

UN Women said in a post on X on Sunday, July 26, that Mohamed Nasiri held discussions during the visit with diplomatic partners and Taliban officials regarding the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan.

The organization said the meetings addressed increasing support for Afghan women and girls and removing restrictions on humanitarian workers, particularly women.
