Shafaqna English- The European Union has joined an international aid effort following the Colombia earthquake, and EU chief Ursula von der Leyen said the EU had mobilised Copernicus, its satellite service, to support rescue operations.
Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella – just three days after being sworn in – declared a state of emergency after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia shortly after 7:30 am on Monday.
