Shafaqna English– The football world learned on Friday(14 Aug 2026) that Ciro Immobile, a renowned striker who played for Lazio and the Italian national team, has officially ended his professional career, as confirmed by his current club, Paris FC.
In an official statement, the French club revealed that Immobile had expressed a strong desire to dedicate the majority of his time to his family and close ones after spending 17 years as a professional footballer.
Immobile, who is 36 years old, signed with Paris FC in February, making a move from Bologna. In his short stint with the French outfit, he made 12 appearances in Ligue 1 and scored two goals.
Throughout his entire professional career, Immobile accumulated an impressive record of 306 goals in 599 club matches across all competitions. Additionally, he scored 17 times in 57 appearances for the Italian national team.
