Shafaqna English– At a Beijing conference on Wednesday(19 Aug 2026), Chinese robotics companies demonstrated humanoid robots capable of sorting packages, packing smartphones, and assisting with household tasks. The showcase was intended to signal a transition away from entertainment‑oriented demonstrations toward practical commercial applications.
Organizers report that over 300 firms, the vast majority based in China, are participating in the World Robot Conference, which runs through Sunday. Attendees can view more than 2,000 displays, and companies are unveiling upward of 150 new products during the event.
