Shafaqna English– At the Beijing event, Chinese robot makers presented their newest technologies as evidence that the country’s robotics industry is entering a more advanced stage of development.
By putting their machines directly in front of investors and customers, manufacturers are attempting to show that improvements in performance, capabilities and practical applications could pave the way for broader commercialization. The focus reflects a growing effort within China’s robotics sector to turn technological progress into sustainable market demand.
The scale of the World Robot Conference underscores the growing importance of robotics in China’s technology strategy. More than 300 companies are taking part in the event, which continues through Sunday, with more than 2,000 exhibits on display and over 150 new products being launched, according to Beijing authorities.
The breadth of participation and the large number of product launches indicate that competition in China’s robotics industry is intensifying as companies seek to gain an advantage in an increasingly important emerging market.
