Shafaqna English– A fierce wildfire that broke out overnight in a picturesque Croatian holiday destination has destroyed multiple homes, killed at least one person, injured 40 others, and forced around 1,200 people to flee the area, according to local authorities. Meanwhile, the European Union has warned that pockets of “very extreme” fire risk are now spreading across the European continent.
Additionally, hundreds of people have been evacuated from a seaside resort in northern Greece and a village located in southwestern France. In England, a significant grass fire has also destroyed several houses, as confirmed by officials in their reports.
