Shafaqna English– Data from a four-day Reuters/Ipsos survey, completed on Monday(17 Aug 2026), reveals that President Trump’s approval rating has hit an all-time low during his presidency, coinciding with widespread public fear that America’s military engagement with Iran will not end quickly and may drag on for years.
In the four-day opinion poll, only 33% of participants gave Trump a positive rating for his performance in the White House, whereas 64% voiced disapproval. This represents a decline from the 35% approval recorded in an earlier survey conducted earlier this month, and it now matches the lowest approval level ever registered during his first term back in December 2017.
