Shafaqna English- Official data released on Sunday(9 Aug 2026) showed that China’s producer price inflation lost momentum in July, falling to a three-month low and coming in below expectations. Consumer price pressures also weakened as global energy costs retreated despite the conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran.
Facing a two-speed economy marked by strong factory activity and exports but weak consumer demand at home, China’s leaders have committed to boosting growth by bringing forward government spending on infrastructure projects already included in the budget.
