Shafaqna English-The rising cost of food, unemployment, and falling incomes have increased economic pressure on families in Afghanistan, leaving their tables emptier.
Several citizens say that while the cost of living rises every day, their income has decreased, and they can no longer meet their families’ basic needs.
Food sellers also say that the decline in people’s purchasing power has led many customers to visit the market only to ask about prices. In contrast, others leave after purchasing only small amounts of essential goods.
