Shafaqna English- FIFA Chief Operating Officer Kevin Lamour has departed from the organization just weeks after he publicly criticized President Gianni Infantino for his unsuccessful plan to invite private investment in some of FIFA’s commercial operations.
FIFA confirmed that their working relationship with Lamour has come to an end but did not specify the reason for his departure.
“FIFA confirms that the working relationship between FIFA and Kevin Lamour, Chief Operating Officer, ended on August 17, 2026,” a FIFA spokesperson stated in a press release on Monday.
