Shafaqna English– A senior official from the U.S. government stated on Saturday(13 Jun 2026) that Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will visit India in the week following the G7 leaders’ summit to continue talks about a potential trade agreement, adding that a deal is achievable.
The official said that while trade will be on the agenda during President Trump’s meeting with Prime Minister Modi at next week’s summit in France, no one expects a trade deal to be finalized at that gathering.
